Developed by Arup and the Van Leer Foundation, the Proximity of Care Design Guide supports the design and implementation of child and family friendly interventions in urban environments, with benefits for the entire community.
This course, completely free of charge, is tailored for professionals working in urban planning, design, and early childhood development, as well as developers and city officials seeking to deepen their understanding of how the built environment affects, and can be designed for, young children and caregivers.
The full programme comprises four one-hour sessions, including a 30-minute presentation, a 15-minute interactive section, and a 15-minute Q&A segment. A certificate will be issued upon completion.
